Borussia Dortmund has lost the lead for the first time since the sixth game day in the Bundesliga title race. The team of trainer Lucien Favre did not reach VfB Stuttgart a 3:1 (0:0) to defend rank one. With equal points (every 57) the goal difference for the Bavarians is better for two hits.
Marco Reus (62, Foulelfmeter according to video evidence) Dortmund led, but Marc Oliver Kempf (71) was similar. Paco Alcacer (84.) with Seasonator Number 14 and Christian Pulisic (90.+2) secured at least three of the Westphalia.
Favre, as already with the Champions League outing against Tottenham Hotspur, took a total offensive. The Swiss sent Reus, Mario Gotze and Alcacer to the field together for the first time in this Bundesliga season. The first warning shot, however, was fired by Steven Zuber after 45 seconds.
Afterwards, but the favourite against extremely defensive guests took over the command. Driven by Axel Witsel, the BVB launched an attack on the VfB Gate. At the Stuttgart Penitentiary, however, the hosts ran out of ideas. The VfB defense was always given a foot or a head in the middle.
