Discrimination in the Women’s World Cup?

Women’s Handball Associations (FCH) that have joined the Forum Club Handball have approached IOC President Thomas Bach for discrimination against two female officials.

The two technical delegates Jutta Ehrmann-Wolf and Carmen Manchado were not nominated by the World Association of Women in Denmark for their homosexuality in December, according to the letter to Bach. This was confirmed by a high-ranking but not specifically mentioned IMF employee to the two concerned.

“We do not need to explicitly mention that such an approach violates Olympic values and principles,” the FCH Board responsible for women writes to the IOC President. Without a doubt, the World Association thus counters all efforts of international sport for the progressive equality of the sexes.” We believe in the Olympic idea and in you as a person,”it literally says,”Therefore, we are sure that you will do everything, “The former referee Jutta Ehrmann-Wolf had already caused great publicity during the World Cup in Denmark in her public address. Among other things, Norway’s handball icon Gro Hammerseng had discussed the issue in a round of talks on Norwegian and Danish television. There has been no official reaction from the IMF and its controversial President Hassan Moustafa.
