German handball champion SG Flensburg-Handewitt has committed backroom player Aaron Mensing (23) from TTH Holstebro.
As the SG announced on Tuesday, the Danish receives a contract up to 2023. “We are very happy, that after Lasse Muller’s injury, he has chosen SG and will support us in the back room for two years”, Trainer Maik Machulla.
In 33 games for Holstebro Mensing scored in the last season in the Danish league 176 and thus landed in the All-Star team of the season.
By his twelfth year of life he had already played in Flensburg before he established himself in his home country in the professional field. In May, Mensing, who also has a German passport, debuted in the Danish national team.
