Italy attracts! Schalke-flops desired despite descent

The FC Schalke 04 has to and will continue after the sealed descent into the 2nd Bundesliga some conversion measures, especially the cadre structure will fundamentally change. Shkodran Mustafi, Sead Kolasinac and Nabil Bentaleb probably have no future in royal blue, but with other clubs very well.

Actually Mustafi and Kolasinac should lead FC Schalke 04 to class retention. The experienced duo instead joined the ranks of great disappointments. In Italy, there is now speculation about a change of duo to series A.

Mustafi, who signed a contract with FC Arsenal until the end of the season at Schalke after his contract was terminated, is shouting “Calciomercato” at Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri are looking for an experienced interior defender. Besides Mustafi, Nikola Maksimovic (29, SSC Naples) and Aissa Mandi (30, Betis Sevilla) are considered as further candidates.

For Mustafi, Italian football would not be a new country: The 29-year-old played between 2012 and 2014 for Sampdoria Genoa and was then one of the Shooting stars of the A.

And Kolasinac? Although it would be new to the Italian Upper House, it should also receive advances from there. Lazio Rome, who wants to hire a new left-wing representative in view of the coming season, is interested in the native Karlsruhe. Coach Simone Inzaghi is supposed to appreciate Kolasinac’s joy and physical presence.

Does Sead Kolasinac stay with FC Schalke 04?

Kolasinac still has a contract dated to 2022 at FC Arsenal. So far it is not known whether coach Mikel Arteta is planning it for the new season or whether he is allowed to change it for a replacement payment.

FC Schalke 04 is trying to change Kolasinac permanently, but they do not have great hopes on the royal blue side. It’s a long way. But I have also managed a marathon,”said Sports Director Peter Knabelle of the”WAZ”. For a permanent Schalke return Kolasinac would have to forego large parts of his salary.

Englanders advertise Nabil Bentaleb

In addition to the duo, Nabil Bentaleb is expected to break off his tents on the Ernst Kuzorra road. The “Sun” wants to know about an interest of FC Burnley. Due to numerous disciplinary errors Schalke would have liked to get rid of the middle fielder in January. However, no solvent buyer could be found.

In summer Bentaleb is free of charge due to its expiring contract. The Clarets currently have six points ahead of the drop-off points and want to get an English-experienced professional in the case of class retention. Bentaleb once played 66 games in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur.
