After six and a half years, the paths of Christian Eriksen and Tottenham Hotspur could still be separated in January. FC Bavaria Munich will not be traded for the first time as a possible customer for the Danish player.
According to “Sky” Bavarian sports director Hasan Salihamidzic has resumed contact with Eriksen’s adviser. However, a commitment of the 27-year-old was “very unlikely”, as the TV channel continues to report.
Background: In the current transfer window the priorities of Munich lie elsewhere. I want a lawyer and a wingman here. In the central center field, however, the German record champion has no need.
Here Bayer Leverkusen Kai Havertz is considered a desirable solution for the future. A transfer is only conceivable in the summer.
Eriksen’s contract expires in the summer, so the noble technician is probably available at bargain price. In the Polish position in advertising for the 95-time national player Denmark is said to be Inter Milan.
In the past FC Bavaria had already been connected several times with Eriksen. The former Danish Bundesliga pro Stig Tafting had declared in the autumn 2019 to “Sport1” that his compatriot was busy with a possible change to Munich.
Eriksen had switched tracks 2016 for 13,5 million euros from Ajax Amsterdam. In total 303 mandatory matches in the London jersey he was involved in 158 hits.
