Nagelsmann sees Union protests allowed

RB Leipzig does not want to be taken out of the concept by the anti-mood in the ranks at the Bundesliga start on Sunday at Union Berlin.

“The boys are happy if they can go somewhere where it is noisy. It can also push you if the stadium is against you,”said RB coach Julian Nagelsmann on Friday, referring to the trophy game won at the VfL Osnabruc:”We had a good learning game in Osnabruc, where the mood was also very heated and aggressive.”

The fans of Bundesliga-Neuling Union Berlin plan a mood boycott in the first fifteen minutes and other protest campaigns against the group club from Saxony. He will “briefly mention the subject,” said Nagelsmann, “but the players know by various newspaper articles what is coming to them. They are well equipped and will have no major problems with it.”

The fact that he can better pass his instructions to the players in the first hour of the beginning in silence is not a great advantage for Nagelsmann:”I also have a shouting voice in a full and loud stadium.”
