Officially! BVB grabs defensive jewel Balerdi

The switch from Leonardo Balerdi to Borussia Dortmund is perfect. However, the BVB is facing a major problem with the 19-year-old who is moving from Boca Juniors to the Ruhr.

Balerdi signed a “very long term contract” in Dortmund, the BVB announced on Monday. According to media reports, it is a five-and-a-half year contract up to 30. June 2024.

Balerdi had arrived in Dortmund on Monday morning and had subsequently completed the compulsory medical check-up at the Knappschaftskrankenhaus. After that, he signed his contract at the training center Hohenbuschei and then trained directly with the team of trainer Lucien Favre.
