Stairway deal off the table? Frankfurt is about Esser

The desired transfer of Kevin Trapp from Paris Saint-Germain to Eintracht Frankfurt is difficult. Now the eagle bearers seem to be targeting an alternative.

As the “picture” reports, the Frankfurt bosses are dealing with Michael Esser of Hanover 96. Talks are said to have already taken place.

According to the report, there is an exchange in the room. According to this, Felix Wiedwald, currently number two behind Frederik Ronnow in Frankfurt, is to be transferred for Esser to Lower Saxony. In addition, SGE would have to add a million euros to the top.

Esser played big last season and was one of the few Hannover people who knew how to convince. However, with the return of Ron-Robert Zieler, the 31-year-old is waving a bench in the second. Bundesliga! A change to Frankfurt would therefore be worth it for Esser.

PSG currently does not plan to sell Trapp

Frankfurter’s desired candidate, but Kevin Trapp remains. The national goalkeeper had already been lent to the Unitracht during the last season of the game. Last time, however, PSG Sports Director Leonardo made it clear: “For the moment, we are not planning to sell Kevin Trapp.”
