Stebe in Melbourne continues to fail -Hanfmann

Tennis pro Cedrik-Marcel Stebe has reached the second round at the ATP Tournament Great Ocean Road Open in Melbourne, but Yannick Hanfmann is eliminated.

Stebe fought Bolivian Hugo Dellien with 6:4, 6:4 and now meets former Wimbledon and US Open finalists Kevin Anderson (South Africa). Hanfmann lost his opening match against the Spaniard Mario Vilella Martinez 6:7 (2:7), 2:6.

Stebe is thus the last of three German starters to compete with 311.665 dollars. On Monday Dominik Koepfer (Furtwangen) had already failed at the Australian Christopher O’Connell. Top set is Belgian David Goffin.
