This expects RB-Boss Mintzlaff from Nagelsmann

The new coach Julian Nagelsmann does not have to be afraid of his job at the football league RB Leipzig even in a defeat series. That’s what CEO Oliver Mintzlaff of the “Central German Newspaper”.

“The coach doesn’t have to get nervous if there’s one or the other defeat. We know that this is a new timeline and things are changing and it needs a certain adjustment,”Mintzlaff said. Leipzig starts on Sunday (18:00 o’clock) at Neuling 1. FC Union Berlin in the new season.

Mintzlaff once again announced the achievement of the international competition as the season goal. Leipzig had done this so far in each of his three league years. We have invested more, pay higher salaries and, of course, the right to qualify for the European Cup and ideally for the Champions League. With this attitude of expectation we go into our fourth league year,”said the 43-year-old.

There is no new stand according to Mintzlaff in the case of Timo Werner. The national player should either renew his contract to 2020 at the request of RB or be sold this summer. Mintzlaff wants to look again for the conversation with Werner-Berater Karlheinz Forser before the game in Berlin.
