In the course of the Corona crisis, the professionals of the German football league RB Leipzig have also agreed to a salary ban.
The team is facing the club with salary savings in the lower two-digit percentage. This is intended to support the employees of the association in particular.

Sports Director Markus Krsche praised the action: “This is a good and important sign of our team in the current situation. It shows that in these times as a club we are close together to overcome this critical phase together.”
The professionals of the fall champion follow the example of other clubs. Amongst other things, salary cuts had previously been agreed at Bavaria Munich, Borussia Dortmund or Schalke 04.
