With 300 fans! Gladbach starts in preparation

Football Bundesliga Borussia Munich has started to prepare for the season before 300 approved fans. 28 Players, including three goalkeepers, greeted Marco Rose at the beginning of his second season as Gladbach’s head coach at the training place.

Captains Lars Stindl and Rose were particularly pleased that after more than four months something like fan contact was possible again. The numerous media representatives and the pebbles had to register first, wear a mask or keep enough distance from each other.

“It feels great to have fans back. I hope that at least some of the spectators can be admitted to the games soon,”Rose said. And Stindl, long injured in the previous season, added: “We missed being close to the fans. It feels so good. The anticipation of the new season is very great. And we are well positioned as a team again.”

Marcus Thuram was still missing during the only real new access, the former Leipzig Hannes Wolf, which was heavily involved in the 90-minute unit. Denis Zakaria (knee surgery/running training) and Laszlo Benes (band injury) can currently only exercise limited.

The coming season with the three Bundesliga, Champions League and DFB Cup competitions as well as the very short winter break will certainly be challenging, Rose said. “The coming season with the three Bundesliga, Champions League and DFB Cup competitions as well as the very short winter break will be challenging.” I’m glad we didn’t have to give up a service provider. We want to evolve, but we also want to remain humble,”stressed the well-rested coach after his vacation, and added with a smile:”I notice that no one has learned to play football.”
